ABOUT US

At the Women and Children Embassy Foundation, we strongly believe that the eventual demise of poverty much depends on the women in the world.  Women are the backbone of the family.  When women are poor, children are poor.  This is why education is so important for us. At the Women & Children Embassy, we believe that by providing proper education to women, we raise the level of education passed on to the children, de facto helping to push back poverty and preventable diseases. By taking mothers out of poverty, we take children out of poverty, thus uplifting their entire community.

No organization by itself can make poverty disappear entirely. By taking one step at a time in the right direction, and with the help of others like us who care, humanity may one day achieve the ultimate goal; making preventable diseases and extreme poverty a thing of the past.

Think it’s impossible?  We think otherwise.  Just look at what was achieved in the past 60 years. Scientists and other organizations like ours have almost completely eradicated polio worldwide by providing proper medication and education.  At the Women & Children Embassy, we believe we can all do the same with most preventable illnesses. One stepping stone at a time. Because in today’s world, actions do matter, apathy is not an option.

Our organization aims to tackle global poverty and its effects. Build, with realistic tools, a better future for those who need it.  Show compassion and human decency to those in need, wherever you find them

No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.
